About Glendale Agricultural Society
The objectives of the Glendale Agricultural Society are:
To advance education and skills in agriculture, the environment and all related or ancillary subjects; and to advance such other charitable purposes related to agriculture and the environment as the Trustees shall decide. The Society organises two events annually: the Children's Countryside Day (CCD) and The Glendale Show.
The Glendale Agricultural Society has staged the celebrated Glendale Show for over one hundred and thirty five years.
Today the event attracts over 6000 visitors and with a programme of members activities the Society brings country life together.
In recent years the Society has developed its educational programme, working with inner city schools and hosting over 1600 school children every year at the highly successful Children's Countryside Day.
