Introduction


The Glendale Agricultural Society has staged the Glendale Show for over 125 years. The event attracts over 10,000 visitors annually and is a celebration of country life.

The Society is a registered charity. The objects for which the Charity is established are for;

the public benefit to advance education and skills in particular in agriculture, the environment and all related or ancillary subjects and to advance such other charitable purposes related to agriculture and the environment as the Trustees shall decide. 

The Society has developed an educational programme, and delivers an annual Children's Countryside Day to over 1500 school children attending from schools across Northumberland and Tyne and Wear.
