Annual Quiz Night is Resounding Success

The Glendale Agricultural Society’s social calendar’s key night sees team ‘4 Ceps’ win

Team ‘4 Ceps’ stormed to victory at the Glendale Agricultural Society (GAS) Annual Quiz, held at the Tankerville Arms, Wooler.  They battled against 17 teams from across Glendale to take home the title.

The winning team, made up of Neil Tait, Gerald Dickinson, David Wilson and Tom Johnson received their prize which was kindly donated by Kelso Racecourse.  This included four passes with access to the member’s area for a days racing at Kelso.

‘4 Ceps’ were closely followed by ‘TAPS’ in second place and ‘HRI’ in third.  All team members enjoyed a pie and pea supper before the first round began.  The teams were put through their paces with eight question rounds and a picture round.  This year’s special round was on Local Ladies.
