Farming Experts Return to their Northumberland Roots for Burns Night Celebration
8th January 2020
Glendale Agricultural Society will be celebrating Burns Night with a special event, on Monday 27th January.
James Thompson and Harry Huddart of agricultrual innovators, Beeswax Dyson Farming Ltd, are the guest speakers at Lowick Village Hall at 7pm.
Although the Beeswax Dyson Farming Estate covers Lincolnshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, James was born and brought up locally in Chatton and Harry grew up in Lowick.
Andrew Walton, Chairman of the Glendale Agricultural Society, said: "We are extremely thankful to have both James and Harry up here in Northumberland to provide a presentation from the UK's largest farming enterprise.
Not only are they here to promote progressive agricultural practices and their long-term regenerative model, but the fact that James and Harry are both from the Glendale area means this is a unique opportunity to hear from true advocates for the area.
The Burns Night event costs £20 per head and includes haggis, neeps and tatties. To book, please contact Rebecca Maitland at rebecca@glendaleshow.com or on 01668 283868.
