Chillingham Wild Cattle Association

The Wild Cattle of Chillingham are said to be the only survivors of the wild herds which once roamed Britain’s forests. Today they live in a beautiful enclosed Park at Chillingham, between Alnwick and Bamburgh in Northumberland, their home for 800 years. The herd numbers around 120 beasts, making them far rarer than the Giant Panda. The Association welcomes visitors to the Park to view the cattle from April to October.
